How Do You Master Bait

Exploration 11-13/02/11 Post

last week in Bueno there really been an ardent. There were many and divided into several teams.

I speak for the three who entered Friday night until Sunday: Grip, Kraus and me. We have entered

Friday night with a truly optimal water situation of the abyss. I would say almost dry.

Within hours we arrived at base camp, and after a fair system of materials and eaten, a brief party and sleep.

The next day we headed to Collosso, branch impressive still unknown to Kraus and Grip.

In short, we arrive at the junction where it exits the deep waters of the river downstream, and instead of going down in the gorge, climb a p.40 Here, about halfway up, there was already a meander to explore through pendulum, but we had to return.

the top 40, a beautiful penstock descending (over 100 m) leads to the first big show of Collosso, where there are several routes up to be seen. The area is very wide, and wanting to go up and there are rails to do in spades. Access is down a P35.

Then we go back again for another 40 yards, ending up suspended in a room that overlooks the first salon Collosso: basically a giant P40 (15x10 meters wide, with a nice split further down still to be achieved), which leads to the base then siphon the Emerald Isle.

The goal was to our back, pointing out that the window from which flows the river known, was about 15 feet high.

So begins the ascent, but taking a more and more internal, not wet.

As I climb, Kraus and lights, we realize that the slope is 15 meters, and the wall a little salt 'projecting much higher.

I stop about 30 meters high (so to +70), without understanding or even where it exits the water, or how high the chimney. About 5 meters from the stop, there is still a pipeline to explore.

With scenes from, we can see that the river comes from a stack parallel to the slope, while the main halls at least another 30-40 meters from the stop, making it a p100 !!!!!

Above you can see at least two continuations of good size, that is conducted with wall-to-time .... Needless to say, the next time we will to reach the top.

In return, with a pendulum Kraus reaches meander in the first p40, walk twenty yards and stop walking in another big P.30 two good ways to get high ...

After washing pots and filled the pockets of water to drink, let us return to the field and celebrate with a galactic tortellini.

On Sunday morning, after a good moccaccino, we start at 9.00 am about to go out around 13:30, carrying out all this rubbish to the field. Very nice to meet

Cyclopean the various teams involved in various exploration and stringers.

underscores how "different" to do business with a more hospitable base camp like ours. The clothes on the ground, sleeping bags, etc were all dry, the food is still outstanding, and most importantly, the ability to sleep and then wake up and find themselves already to -450, fresh to explore, allowing us to move with a freshness quite different from that of a pull of 20-25 hours. Do

at all costs ...
